2019 CVCCo Counts
This past June 13th, volunteers counted passing cyclists at 10 key Comox Valley locations. On August 6 and 10, counts of all non-vehicles crossings of 5th Street Bridge were implemented. All told, around 50 fantastic volunteers assisted CVCCo to implement these counts. The reports generated are linked here. They have been proving very useful for CVCCo advocacy and to decision makers, particularly in Courtenay, where plans for an improved downtown Courtenay River crossing, part of a new Master Transportation Plan, are being finalized.
