Have a problem with the roads? Who do you call?

The Regional District road maintenance is the responsibility of the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MoTI).

The MoTI has contracted these services to Emcon.

Their contract mandates a once a year road sweep to occur after the anticipated last snow fall of the winter, usually being March or April.

The contract also mandates that “hazards” be cleared on an “at needed” basis.

For cyclists these hazards become apparent on the shoulders of the road.
