From the North Island College Foundation
Our regions finest chefs, vintners, farmers and producers will gather at Coastal Black Winery to showcase their talents, support Vancouver Island culinary culture and educate our community. Guests will wander through the immaculate working farm and award winning winery, sample the tastes from over 40 exhibitor booths and enjoy live entertainment from local musicians.
Flavour is aimed at families and foodies. The focus will be on personal experience and will highlight the tastes of the island. Participants will interact with chefs, local wineries, breweries and producers as they sample and learn about all our region has to offer. For a full list of Exhibitors to date, please visit www.gourmetpicnic.ca.
This event was conceptualized by the North Island College Foundation team with the purpose of showcasing our region’s epicurean bounty while at the same time utilizing the proceeds to establish scholarships and bursaries for NIC Culinary Arts students.
