New Chip Seal on Hornby

Mike has told us that they have started to put the new chip seal down on Hornby Island. Ed says the will be using the finest available aggregate – Grade E – for this. It takes about 10 days to settle and then it will be swept. It is not good for cycling until then.
Anybody that lives on Denman or Hornby, please comment with your assessment of the new surface.
