Bike to the Playground

Ready, Set, —– Cycle

Children of preschool age and their parents are invited to Bike to the Playground on both Tuesday, June 1 and Thursday June 3 at 10:00 am during Bike to Work Week.

Children can come on any type of bicycle, tricycle, scooter, or being pulled by parents. Everyone will start at Simms Park, downtown Courtenay and ride under the 5th Street Bridge to the Lewis Centre. Healthy goodies and special ribbons will be available for all.

At last year’s event, dozens of enthusiastic young paritipants on bikes, trikes and trailers, some whose feet barely reached the pedals, completed the route on their own wheels and had a great time.

Bike to the Playground is af fun way to get your whole family participating in Bike to Work Week.
